SeaWorld Orlando has hit a new milestone in the construction of Infinity Falls -- installation of the last piece of the ride's massive tower.
The piece was installed over the weekend with cranes, according to SeaWorld leaders.
Now, the tower reaches a height of 67 feet and blends "modern architecture with ancient ruins." When it opens, Infinity Falls will feature the world's tallest drop on a river raft ride.
SeaWorld leaders have not given an opening date for the new ride, but when it opens, the ride will feature 8-passenger circular rafts and take guests "on an adventure through a lush rainforest environment inspired by some of the world's most incredible freshwater ecosystems."
Park leaders recently teased that passholders will get first dibs on riding, but haven't share more specifics on that.
An opening date will be announced in the coming weeks, according to SeaWorld.
