President Donald Trump has finally taken his place inside The Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom.
The attraction, which has been closed almost a year while the updates were made, officially reopens today after a soft opening Monday.
Following every presidential election cycle, the Walt Disney World attraction closes to update the show to include the new president. Changes are usually made within a few months, making this particular closure a long one.
Disney said the Audio-Animatronics figure of Trump features the latest advancements in technology, making our current president look more lifelike and appear smoother in his movements and speech.
Standing to the left of a sitting Abraham Lincoln, Trump's animatronic repeats the oath of office and talks of why the American founders wrote the Constitution and the "achievements of the American spirit."
"Above all, to be an American is to be an optimist," says Trump, who personally recorded his own remarks exclusively for the attraction, according to Disney leaders.
