Merchandise for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party includes the first-ever MagicBand design to glow in the dark.
The band, a bright orange with Mickey and his friends, commemorates the annual after-hours Halloween bash at Disney's Magic Kingdom. Only 4,000 will be available for purchase and (bonus!) the box it comes in smells like chocolate, according to Disney.
The party, which requires a separate ticket for entry, begins Aug. 25.
The Sanderson Sisters, the goofy and somehow loveable sisters from the film Hocus Pocus, are getting a lot of face time with their own extended line of merchandise, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
“We have a ‘spelltacular’ assortment this year,” said Cathy Dawson, Merchandise Product Developer for special events, to the blog. “We have expanded the number of items featuring the Sanderson Sisters to include a new light up ornament and a tote bag."
The Sanderson Sisters are also getting their own MagicBand.
When it comes to the more traditional MNSSHP merch, the standard T-shirts, pins and a light-up pumpkin ornament will be available for purchase. Some of Disney's worst villains will make a bold appearance with their own pin set.
“Disney Villains are a key part of the 'Hocus Pocus Villains Spelltacular' stage show, so we thought they would make for great pins this year,” said Erin Herbst, Merchandise Product Developer for Disney pins. “Each Villain is presented with a cauldron that opens to reveal key scenes and characters from animated features.”
Select pins will be sold as individual limited edition pins, each with an edition size of 5,400. These pins will also be sold in a boxed set (1,000 edition size) and a framed set (300 edition size), each containing limited edition completer pins.
