Disney Springs, the revamped, rebranded version of Walt Disney World Resort's shopping and entertainment complex, has added three new stores to the mix.
Bowes Signature Soy Candles, Swings N' Things and Savannah Bee are now open in the complex formerly known as Downtown Disney, according to the Disney Parks Blog. A fourth store, rinse bath & body co., is expected to open soon.
Located inside Marketplace Co-Op, Bowes Signature Soy Candles specialized in candles with cotton, eco-friendly wicks and 100 percent natural soy wax, according to Disney. What could be the coolest part is that they're hand-poured and labeled locally in Orlando. There's more than 100 varieties of candles to pick here or, according to Disney, customers can create their own scent, too.
Speaking for Florida, it's almost always hammock weather, and I guess Swings N' Things is Disney's answer to making sure you're set with just that or even a porch swing. The kiosk, described as "small-but-mighty" on the Disney Parks Blog, is located near Cookes of Dublin. Prices range from $40-$400.
It only seems fitting that Disney would open Savannah Bee now that honey has been dubbed Orlando's signature ingredient. Savannah Bee, located in a newly-expanded space near The Ganachery, sells a range of honeys and "hive-inspired health and beauty products," per Disney. They also have a Mead Tasting Bar with honey wines to sip and try.
And last, but certainly not least, the new rinse bath & body co. kiosk will open near Paddlefish and showcases natural products (deodorant, essential oil roll-ons, showers bombs, etc.) handmade in Monroe, GA.. Disney hasn't announced when this one is expected to open.
