Ashley Eckstein, the goddess behind the Her Universe clothing and accessory company, revealed new clothing items slated to be sold at Disney parks and stores sometime this fall and early next year.
Eckstein revealed sketches of the items, a mix of dresses and tops, Friday at the D23 Expo in Anaheim. The items run the gamut of Star Wars and Captain America to designs from Magic Kingdom, including Fantasyland and Frontierland-inspired artwork.
Captain American items, two sweaters and a dress, stick to the American colors the Cap is known for donning. Star Wars goodies appear to be a vest, a dress and a jacket with a cape. The two-piece Frontierland outfit consists of a skirt and a Western-style top that ties in a knot at the center. Lastly, the Fantasyland dress is an off-the-shoulder number in a whimsical pinks and blues.
Photos Eckstein tweeted, images that were displayed during D23, indicate Magic Kingdom outfits are headed to The Dress Shop at Disney Springs, the entertainment and shopping complex for Walt Disney World Resort here in Orlando. Since opening in March, The Dress Shop has sold clothing giving nods to some classic Disney attractions and characters, such as The Haunted Mansion and the Enchanted Tiki Room.
Eckestein's dresses and Disney-themed clothing items have their own fan following, especially among women who want to celebrate their fandom in modern attire.
