Central Florida is getting even more Star Wars this year thanks to the new "Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire" experience planned for Disney Springs.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the "groundbreaking hyper-reality experience" will be open at Disney's shopping and entertainment complex sometime this holiday season.
Guests will be transported to "a galaxy far, far away where you’ll be able to engage with friends, family and Star Wars characters through sight, sound, touch, smell, and motion," reads the blog.
The new tech, developed by an entertainment company called THE VOID, will melt the physical and digital worlds, according to Disney. LucasFilm and ILMxLab are also part of the project's development.
Disney hasn't announced where specifically inside Disney Springs the new addition will be located. Downtown Disney in California will also be getting the new attraction.
