After a successful inaugural outing last year, Disney PhotoPass Day is returning to Walt Disney World Resort on Aug. 19, the same day it was last year.
The celebration of Disney's PhotoPass Service gives park guests a chance to meet and greet some of their favorite characters, many of which don't get a ton of time in the parks. According to the Disney Parks Blog, this year's event will be even bigger than last year and will include event-exclusive Animated Magic Shots, more one-day-only character experiences and photo locations in all four theme parks.
While Disney hasn't dished the details yet, let's recap what we got last year, shall we?
Character photos were offered at Epcot and Magic Kingdom last year with Pinocchio, Gideon and Foulfellow, characters from the 1940 movie "Pinocchio," greeting guests at Storybook Circus.
At Epcot, Mulan and her sidekick Mushu were in the China Pavilion; Snow White and Dopey were in Germany; and the Queen of Hearts (a personal favorite of mine) was with Alive in the United Kingdom.
Tuesday's post did not say if Disney PhotoPass Day will also take place at Disneyland in California this year as it did last year.
