The Edison at Disney Springs, one of the newest destinations coming to the shopping and entertainment complex, has sold out its grand opening event.
Tickets went on sale Dec. 8 and sold out just about a week later, according to Patina Restaurant Group, which runs the new entertainment hot-spot.
The event offered a limited number of tickets (several hundred) for $150 per adult. Honestly, that price sounds pretty steep at the surface level, but it included four hours of entertainment and food plus the opportunity to be the first group of people to actually party inside.
Here's what $150 bought ya: tray-passed hors d’oeuvres, live-action food stations and a wide selection of beer, wine and premium spirits from 8 p.m. until midnight; plus, a selection of coffee, desserts and a celebratory midnight toast to ring in the new year.
