Whether you used to follow me when I was a local tourism reporter, or you’ve somehow just stumbled upon this page, welcome!
I’m Caitlin Dineen, a former newspaper reporter who covered all things tourism in the Central Florida region. I rode roller coasters, tasted new bites and analyzed if a new attraction would make it in this crazy town. After a decade in journalism, I stepped away from it all in early 2017 and am happy to announce I’m coming back to writing.
I present to you Orlando Everyday, a project that aims to tell you what’s happening in the town without agenda, slant or another run around the rumor mill. I know there’s plenty of places people can find news about this town and I’m certainly not telling you to ignore everyone else and just look at me.
There's enough happening in Orlando to support another voice and I’m here to be just that.
So while you’re contemplating what makes me different from everyone else, I think we can all agree it’s the #BoomGlitter I bring to the table (and leave in my wake). It’s my personal mantra and a hashtag that’s followed me around for the last several years.
In all seriousness though, Orlando Everyday is a platform to tell you about the latest and greatest (or not-so-greatest) adventures this town offers to everyone, from tourists to locals.
Follow along for breaking tourism news, reviews, personal experiences and anything else I think you might find value in reading.
And like every active human, you can find me on Twitter and Instagram as @CaitlinDineen.
