There's no denying baby sloths might be one of the cutest animals alive and Wild Florida has a new one among its ranks!
But what's the point of seeing a baby sloth if you don't know what to call it in that adorable/obnoxious baby voice? If you've ever thought about what you would name one (like I'm sure we all have) now's your chance!
Wild Florida, a wildlife and nature park on Lake Cypress in Kenansville, is hosting a naming contest for their newest baby animal. The park held a similar contest for its first two-toed baby sloth last year and that little guy now goes by George. The newest addition is George's brother, according to Wild Florida leaders.
Entries can be made here (http://blog.wildfloridairboats.com/help-us-name-our-new-baby-sloth). Entrants have a chance to win a 1-hour airboat ride for two, meeting the baby and his mom, Ana, and having lunch at the park's Chomp House Grill. Wild Florida leaders will pick their favorite name and a second winner at random from all the entries.
According to the Wild Florida website, the contest will close at the end of July and entries will be reviewed then.
